Thanks for this posting. It's a good reminder of last Sunday's Truth Talk at USLC. The great thing is that I've taken the Truth Talk message to heart and have already achieved much of what I set out to accomplish this month.

I love the 7 components that give the most success to resolutions, especially the 2 you've added. They are helping me to reconsider the reasons for some of the things I want to achieve in 2009. And those reasons are giving me better determination.

For me New Year's resolutions are like any goal or objective we set for ourselves. At first there is lots of enthusiasm. The real question is whether or not there is enough determination to see the desired goal/resolution to its fruition.

I think it's important to remember the Unity principles of thinking creatively and taking action. In most of my life, determination has been the stimulus for lots of creative thinking. However, it was the taking action on solutions that got me what I desired. Accomplishing my 2009 New Year's resolutions will require the same.

It's fun visualizing and affirming what I have resolved to accomplish this year. Thanks for the help!
