Our Church
Ministry focuses on transforming spiritual consciousness of the people
by providing a safe environment in which people can learn spiritual
Truth as interpeted by Unity. We base our teachings on the Bible, with
special emphasis on the teachings of Jesus the Christ.
A lot of volunteers contribute to creating the warm, welcoming
environment where our Unity family comes together to worship and grow
spiritually.
Worship
Team — Micki Stewart; Kay Hrabec (This group
will be sure there are
ushers, greeters, and Daily Word readers for the service; candles lit;
flowers; visitor packets available; and other things involving the
smooth running of our Sunday morning service and worship
opportunities.)
Platform
Team — Bob Hrabec; Dick Ingersoll; Gabriela
Matthews; and Micki Stewart
(This group is responsible for handling the platform duties for the
Sunday morning services.)
Hospitality
Team — Mae Burks; Carla Garcia; Kathy Henderson;
Carmen Ingersoll (This
group is responsible for refreshments for fellowship before and after
our services; food related to special services; potluck set-up and
supervision; maintaining supplies in kitchen; etc.)
Building
& Grounds Team— Timothy Satterfield;
Sydney St. Clair (This team
will coordinate the upkeep other than regular cleaning that is done by
an outside janitorial service; includes sprucing up the outside of the
church; checking on plants inside; maintaining supplies for cleaning
& rest rooms; furniture needs; etc.)
